Background
About Bartholomew Allen
Embracing my mothers legacy of becoming a programmer and advancing my knowledge of mathematics is something I know she will be proud of me for full filling. She told me stories of her programming back in her college years when they had to use floppy disk drives and punch cards just to save programs. Everything she told me intrigued my fascination of wanting to know more about programming and excelling in something she used to love so much. Of her programming days, she mentioned programming languages such as COBOL, RPG II, and Assembler. From her stories of programming, the love of solving difficult puzzles, never knowing when to quit and the persistence of patience I fell for computer science and mathematics right away. With learning more about how algorithms work and how they are created to structured for making programs run efficiently to understanding how mathematics ties into the fundamentals of computing.Self Education:Learning more about computer hardware, compiler design, algorithm design and implementation.Programming Languages known:C++, Java, Javascript, Jquery, HTML, CSS
