About Basant Gera

I have pursued my master's degree in Software Computer Engineering at Concordia University. I am passionate about IoT, Software Performance Engineering, Software System Design from Scratch. Previously I worked as a Software Programmer at ISC ITS Pvt Ltd. During my time in the company, I was involved in the design and development of the various financial web-based project for KLM and Air France airline and also developed PC and device-based cross-platform applications which provided business intelligence solutions. I am a responsible, detailed-oriented, and committed software engineering new grad from Concordia University, Canada. I'm passionate about solving real-world problems with the skills and knowledge that I have gained throughout my studies. During my Master's, I worked on a few real-time projects like Rent It, University course enrolls system, Analysing large software projects using measurement metrics. With these projects, I gained hands-on experience in Java, Machine Learning algorithms. I also got to learn about SDLC, Project Management, Agile Methodology, Modeling, and Verification of the software applications. My technical proficiencies include: • Programming Languages: Java, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript,jQuery,C# • UML Tool Software: Visual Paradigm, WhitestarUML, Draw.IO, Lucidchart • Frameworks and Libraries: Sprint boot, Bootstrap 5 • Project Management: Project Planning, Task Management, and Agile Methodology • Platform and Version Control System: Windows, Ubuntu, GitHub, BitBucket, GitLab I enjoy being challenged and engaging with projects that require me to work outside my comfort and knowledge set. I would like to start working as soon as possible with the knowledge I have acquired over time. I'm seeking full-time opportunities in Software Development, Software Developer, Front End, Back End and Software Engineering.
