About Bashir Adebayo Elegbede

As an Immunization Officer at UNICEF for over two years, I have been involved in ensuring the availability, accuracy, and timeliness of information and data for effective immunization program design, implementation, management, monitoring, and evaluation. I have also undertaken field visits to districts and sub-districts to improve immunization coverage and support staff training and development. With a master's degree in International Public Health and experience as a researcher and a data consultant, I have developed strong skills in data analysis, statistical data analysis, active listening, and communication for development. I have contributed to various health projects on COVID-19, maternal and child health, HIV and AIDS, routine immunization, and gender, working with government, UNICEF, and other international NGOs. I am passionate about strengthening health systems and addressing health inequities globally.
