I am currently working as a Consultant Laparoscopic Bariatric, Hepato-Pancreato-Biliary & Gastrointestinal Surgeon at Burjeel Hospital, Abu Dhabi, UAE. I have special interest in Advanced Laparoscopic Surgery including Bariatric, Hepatobiliary, Pancreatic, Gastrointestinal & Colonic Surgery for Benign and Malignant Diseases. During my time at King Hussein Cancer Center, Amman, Jordan (2017-2019) I was honoured to promote laparoscopic surgery for resections of cancers of the stomach, colon, liver and pancreas. I was the Lead Bariatric & Laparoscopic Surgeon at Salford Royal Hospital, Manchester, UK (2009-2017). I was also the Lead Bariatric Surgeon at Spire Manchester Hospital and the BMI Hospital in Cheshire, the Alexandra Hospital (2022-2017). I have expertise in over laparoscopic bariatric procedures including gastric bypass, sleeve gastrectomy, gastric banding, duodenal switch, single anastomosis duodena-ileal bypass (SADI), as well as complex revision bariatric surgery.
