As a Product Designer at Mott Manufacturing Limited, I generate, revise, and approve engineering drawings accurately using SolidWorks PDM Professional and AutoCAD, while effectively managing a workload that encompasses multiple projects. I analyze and interpret blueprints, specifications, architectural drawings, schedules, and client-provided hand drawings to gain a comprehensive understanding of the design intent. I also conduct thorough engineering calculations to ensure the structural integrity, functionality, and safety of mechanical designs, involving mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, electrical, and electronic components. I have a strong educational background in mechanical engineering, with a degree in Applied Mechanical Design and a Post Graduate Diploma in Practical Elements of Mechanical Engineering from Fanshawe College, where I was on the Dean's Honour Roll. I have also obtained multiple certifications in SolidWorks Weldments and Sheet Metal Design from LinkedIn. In addition, I have personal experience in software development, with skills in HTML5, JavaScript, CSS3, React, Node.js, Git, Visual Studio Code, Bootstrap, and JQuery. I am passionate about creating innovative and user-friendly products that meet the needs and expectations of the customers.
