About Basile Malempre

I am a driven business management student from Belgium, currently studying in the United States as an international student at Cleary University. With a specialization in sports promotion and management, I’m in my junior year, working toward a Bachelor of Business Administration. My unique perspective as an international student enriches my approach to business and sports management, offering a multicultural lens to problem-solving and collaboration. As a student-athlete and captain of my university golf team, I have excelled both on and off the course. My dedication to academic excellence has been recognized with multiple honors, including: Dean's List recognition for outstanding academic performance. WHAC All-Academic Team (2023) for excellence in academics as a collegiate athlete. Beyond academics, I’ve gained practical experience in sports and business through various roles: Recruitment Ambassador for Sports and Study USA, guiding European student-athletes, particularly in golf, through the U.S. college admissions and scholarship process. Pro Shop Assistant at Liege Gomze Golf Club, where I developed customer service and operational skills. Server at Le Frero, thriving in fast-paced environments and enhancing my multitasking abilities. Golf Instructor, sharing my expertise with beginners and fostering their passion for the sport. Fluent in French and English, I leverage my bilingual abilities to communicate effectively across diverse teams and cultures. My experiences as an international student and athlete have taught me adaptability, resilience, and the importance of cross-cultural collaboration. Outside of academics and work, I’m deeply committed to my personal interests, including traveling, fitness, and competitive golf. These pursuits reflect my dedication to exploration, well-being, and lifelong growth. I am motivated to contribute my skills and experiences to an internship in sports management, where I can drive meaningful projects and learn alongside industry professionals. Let’s connect—I’m always open to discussing new opportunities, sharing insights, and exploring creative ways to merge sports and business!
