Accountable for the development, implementation and ongoing operation of the Release Management policies and processes in line ensuring processes are fit for purpose and continually reviewed and improved. Manage all aspects of the end to end release management lifecycle process Ensures teams follow the organisation’s established Release Management policies and procedures. Works with the stakeholders to develop, implement and maintain, automation where feasible, across the Release Management service lifecycle. Compilation and provision of customer lifecycle and management reports on release progress Record metrics for release deployments to ensure within agreed SLAs Coordinate release documentation and communications Ensure release management underpins and supports all operational and service delivery processes and all changes to configuration items (CI’s) are controlled under the governance of the change process. Work with project and service support teams to ensure any potential CI’s are correctly identified and managed through a quality release management deployment programme.
