About Bassem Barakat

I am Bassem Barakat, a seasoned senior application engineer with over six years of experience in design and manufacturing. I currently oversee NX Design and manufacturing, along with metrology, at PENTA 3D. My role includes facilitating numerous training sessions in these domains. I hold a Bachelor's degree in Aeronautical Engineering from the Institute of Aviation Engineering & Technology, where I graduated with distinction. As a trainer, I provide Siemens NX CAD training, covering 3D modeling, sheet metal design, surface modeling, drafting, and assembly to various teams, including those at Fresh in 10th of Ramadan, Egypt. Additionally, I offer Reverse Engineering training using Siemens NX to Design and R&D teams at STCE in Cairo, Egypt. My expertise extends to Siemens NX CAM training for Turning, Fixed, and Multi-axis Milling for the Production Team at The Arab Organization for Industrialization (AOI) in Cairo, Egypt. I also provide comprehensive inspection and measurement services for car chassis using FARO Arm technology at Ghabbour factory and detailed inspection and modification services for the TIGGO 4 Pro Body Welding Jig at the Aboul Fotouh Factory. I conduct training sessions on Faro Arm, Faro ScanArm, Laser Tracker hardware, and RevEng and CAM2 software for inspection and Reverse Engineering at various locations, including Ruhrpumpen Egypt, ARAMCO in KSA, ARM in KSA, and NCMS in KSA. Additionally, I offer services for inspecting Gas Turbine Engine Assembly using FARO Laser Tracker at GESAT in KSA and provide related training. I hold certifications from Siemens in NX Design, MCAD, and Partner PreSales, and I am certified as a Faro Arm and Faro Laser Tracker Trainer by Faro.
