About Bassey Esu

Education qualifications Bassey Benjamin Esu holds a Ph.D in Tourism Marketing, Masters Degree in Business Administration (MBA) and Bachelor of Science Degree in Marketing, all from University of Calabar. He is a Lecturer in the Department of Marketing, University of Calabar, Nigeria and Adjunct Lecturer in the Department of Tourism and Hospitality, Cross River University of Technology and Institute of Management and Technology. Professional membership He is Fellow National Institute of Marketing of Nigeria (FNIMN), Fellow Chartered Institute of Administration (FCAI) and Member of Nigeria Academy of Management. He also holds a professional certification from the American Hotels & Lodging Educational Institute (CHT) as a Certified Hospitality Trainer. He is Managing Consultant of Divine Marketing Consult and CEO of Sustainable Tourism Initiative (SUTI); a tourism NGO with headquarters in Calabar, Nigeria Academic experience Head of Department of Marketing (2014-2016). Other Administrative positions Dr. Esu has held include: Examination Officer of the CES Bachelor of Science Programme in Marketing Coordinator CES Bachelor of Science Programme in Marketing (2006- 2010), Departmental Graduate Committee Chairman (2012-2014). Academic publications He has published several articles in both local and international reputable Journals in tourism development and marketing. He has several years of Business and Research. Personal profile Dr. Esu is 50 years old, a Christian and married with two children. He is from Ediba in Abi LGA of Cross River State. He loves reading and visiting exotic places.
