About Bastien Alexandre

My chief interest has always been storytelling. My first means to achieve that was illustration, even before I could articulate a proper sentence. So, I’ve been at it most of my life. Now, immersing myself into abstract thought and emerging with a clear vision is second nature to me. And always a vision tailored to the needs and objectives of the project. Between and during projects, I devote my time to the development of skills, ideas and knowledge that help shape the way I communicate emotions and narrative through different medium and to different audiences. I am absolutely sold on the creative process and its inner workings. I’m addicted to plunging head first into it and orchestrating the chaotic collage of minds, parameters, technical realities, personalities and talents to achieve an ultimate vision. I’m not bound by medium. To me, medium is a vector, it impacts the HOW of storytelling, not the WHAT. Dabbling in different medium only augments the possibilities and enlarges the human experience and the tools available to reach creative goals. I welcome challenges in new arenas of expressions. I adapt quickly and love creating links with other fields of expertise. I strive to ensure that the project I work on benefit the end user in a powerful, lasting and meaningful way.
