About Bayley Bennett

I’m am a B-Category flight instructor with 900+ hours total, a Bachelor of Aviation from Massey, and a solid mix of real-world and instructional flying experience. I’ve spent the last couple of years helping new pilots grow their skills and confidence — both in the air and on the ground — while also getting involved in safety work, airspace user groups, and syllabus coordination. Before aviation, I worked in tourism and customer service, which taught me a lot about working with people — something I still really enjoy, especially in a cockpit setting. I’m calm under pressure, a clear communicator, and someone who thrives in dynamic environments. Outside of flying, you’ll usually find me in the mountains or giving back through volunteering. I’ve earned both the Silver Duke of Edinburgh and the Grand Prior award from St John.
