About Bea Francisco

As a Clinician, I believe that “exercise is medicine”. I’m interested in an active physiotherapy treatment approach prioritizing patient education and exercise prescription, in combination with hands-on therapy. As a Researcher (I hold a M.Sc in Rehabilitation Sciences), I ask deep questions and am keen to find the answers. I am confident in my ability to understand and critique articles, and in applying evidence-based practice based on science that is relevant and up to date. I enjoy sharing scientific studies with other clinicians and the general public (via social media or presentations). As the end-user of clinical research, I believe it's important for clinicians to be involved in the research process. I’m always open to being involved in research opportunities. As a Coach with 10+ years of experience, I motivate and empower others to reach their fullest potentials. I’m interested in the intersection of neuroscience, behaviour change, and exercise therapy to help people create sustainable, long-term exercise habits and healthier lifestyles. As a former high-performance athlete, I understand the value of a good coach. They can help you get to the next level faster, and more efficiently. My drive is to help others achieve healthier versions of themselves through movement and exercise. My different hats give me the unique skillset to do so.
