About Beandre du Toit

I obtained my BSc. Forensic Science degree with a Cum Laude at the University of the Free State and also had the opportunity of receiving a Golden Key Honour Society award. I participated in extra-curricular activities such as residence sport where I also had the honour of holding the RC( Residence Council) Sport title for 2 years (2018-2020) at House Marjolein. I was also appointed as Vice Prime of Marjolein for 2019/2020 term. I gained experience in laboratory work as a part-time laboratory technician at SMT labs, since 2019, but I also practiced as a Laboratory intern from 2016-2019. This allowed me to better skills such as time-management, team work, prioritizing tasks and general good laboratory practice. Completing my BSc degree allowed me to develop other skills such as critical thinking, problem solving and organization. Through my leadership positions and work experience I have developed good communication skills as well as the ability to thrive in goal driven environments. I am currently pursuing my Honours in BSc Forensic Genetics at the University of the Free State.
