About Beata Edling

Experienced healthcare executive Dr Beata Edling has been Chief Executive Officer of NZX- and ASX-listed company TruScreen Group Limited since October 2022. TruScreen Group Limited manufactures an innovative, AI-driven cervical cancer screening medical device sold internationally. Dr Edling stepped in the CEO role after consulting for TruScreen Group Limited for two years prior. During that time, Dr Edling led the Medical Affairs and Market Access of TruScreen into new markets in Eastern Europe and the Balkan nations and inaugurated TruScreen’s International Experts Group, among others. Prior to her time at TruScreen, Dr Edling performed senior executive roles with global bio-pharmaceutical companies Sanofi-Aventis, Shire, Eli Lily and Amgen for Australia and New Zealand, where she led teams to develop and commercialise number of new medical products. Dr Edling was also previously a Non-Executive Director of ASX listed Noxopharm Limited. Aided by her knowledge of the healthcare sector, both as a medical professional and senior executive, Dr Edling is leading a transformation of TruScreen via several change management and culture transformation initiatives, positioning TruScreen to take advantage of the anticipated post-Covid recovery and accelerating progress toward the TruScreen’s vision: to see the world without the cervical cancer. Dr. Edling holds a MD from the Medical University, Gdansk, Poland, and has completed part I of her Fellowship with Royal College of Surgeons, Australia. Dr Edling completed her PhD at the University of New South Wales, Australia, has an MBA from the University of NSW’s Australian Graduate School of Management, and is a graduate member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors and a member of Women on Boards.
