About Beate Hoffmann

I have proven project management experience from implementation and change processes across different companies and industries in Norway and internationally. Focus in the recent years has been strategy and change projects within IT/ Digitalization I am 39 years Project Leader and have proximately 15 years of work experience since I graduated from Heriot-Watt University with a Master in Business Organisation. I have built my career through 2 main steps; as business consultant in a variety of Norwegian companies and secondly as project leader within IT strategy and implementation in Statoil’s international business area. Examples includes project leader responsibility for strategy and implementation of IT and digital solutions to improve efficiency in operation of oil and gas facilities in Brazil, Sub-Sahara Africa and UK. Since digitalization is a strategic focus area in Statoil, I am used to coordinated stakeholders at many different levels in the organization and I have had the opportunity to work closely with higher management level. I continuously receive positive feedback on my ability to understand the link between business requirements and technology, structure complex technical IT solutions into management decision basis and for my ability to run complex projects in challenging environments. Prior to my career in Statoil, I worked several years as management consultant where I had exposure to projects within different industries (Energy and Utilities, Retail and Public Institutions). I gained solid analytical and problem solving skills and I developed the ability to quickly learn and adapt to new business settings.
