About Beatriz Coningham

I am the Founder and President of the management consulting company HabilisGlobal, where I lead business development and project implementation. With years of consulting and collaboration skills and a deep understanding of leadership, organizational learning, change, and global human resources, I am in my element when working with clients to understand their needs and co-create simple, effective solutions. Designing new organizational capabilities and bringing them to life across multiple countries gets me excited. Working with others, brainstorming ideas, developing teams, and leveraging technology to free teams from repetitive, non-value add work is important to me. A serial de-clutterer with an allergy to forms, my bias is to simplify. Ask me about culture, employee engagement, talent, organizational development and effectiveness, and you will see me smile. Some of the things I enjoyed doing the most in my career: developing leaders in US funded projects (USAID and other US gov agencies) in 20+ countries and industries as varied as healthcare, education, international development, energy, engineering and social sciences research; rolling out digital platforms across many countries and cultures; and preparing organizations for scaling up. With family in the UK, Germany, Brazil, Australia, the US, and South Africa, diversity is in my blood. As a pragmatic creative, I like to apply a fresh perspective to what I do.
