I’m the Head of Marketing & Wine Tourism at Niepoort in Portugal, where I bring together heritage, innovation, and storytelling to craft memorable wine experiences. My wine journey began amongst the elite of the Viticulture & Enology programme at UC Davis in California. When I returned to Portugal, I became the country’s first Wine Director, creating a world-class Portuguese wine collection at The Yeatman and later designing The Wine Experience at WOW Porto, voted the World’s Best Wine Museum in 2025. Since 2021, I’ve been leading Niepoort’s award-winning branding, marketing, and wine tourism strategy, developing experiences that celebrate both tradition and creativity. Named Best Wine Tourism Specialist in Portugal and a TEDx Speaker, I have served as an international judge for the Diners Club Winemaker of the Year (South Africa) and Mundus Vini (Germany), and as a Senior Judge at the Decanter World Wine Awards (UK) for Portugal, and more recently, for Port and Madeira.
