About Beatriz Rodriguez

Customer service is tough because it is different and variant from industry to industry and from company to company. Sure, it is basically: be polite and serve the client, customer, or guest in the best possible way. BUT this is never so simple because everyone is different as individuals and culturally. This is the one skill that I have the opportunity to develop over the course of my employment. As an introvert I am inclined to be observant which makes customer service interesting. I do enjoy serving people and helping them in whatever industry I am. My motivation is always to best assist the customer in whatever way I can, even in the smallest ways. I seek to meet quotas, requirements, or deadlines but I am a strong believer that happy customers return and also recommend. People respond better to genuine assistance rather than assistance driven purely by work ambition. I'm sure that some people appreciate the ambition but as customers people want to know that you care about them not just their money. One of many things that I enjoy is learning. Given the opportunity, patience, and time I am excited to learn new ways, new skills or abilities, and knowledge. I love reading and I have many mentors through books and social media. One of these that I admire is The Walt Disney Company. I have enjoyed reading, Be Our Guest, which has been insightful and inspirational. My favorite quote:"Guests may not always be right, but they are always our guests." Even if it may not sound like it thus far, I am not just about work! I enjoy quality time with God and spend hours studying the Holy Bible, a great source of wisdom. I love spending time with my cat, Skippy, and of course my family! Quality time is great! I am always learning more about how to take care of my body and soul! I recommend Think and Eat Yourself Smart by Dr. Caroline Leaf. If you haven't yet done so read Don't Grow Old-Grow Up by Dorothy Carnegie. Great little book.
