About Beau Sterling

My first job was selling concessions at Safeco Field (now T-Mobile park) where I took the bus from Federal Way to Seattle after high school for every Mariners home game. The gig paid $9.90 hourly and I got to eat free hot dogs, nachos, and pretzels. This taught me work ethic at a very young age. After graduating high school, I attended the University of Washington from 2009-2013 and received my Bachelor of Arts degree with a focus on filmmaking. During that time I worked as a crew lead for Super Friends Moving company and a video intern at Teatro ZinZanni where I filmed and edited circus performances. Upon graduating from the UW I worked as a chief editor on a documentary film called "Walls and the Tiger," which received the 2015 Amnesty International Award for best documentary film on human rights. From there I continued working as a professional mover, discovered cryptocurrencies, stock trading/investing, and worked on various film projects. In July 2019, I entered into a carpentry apprenticeship program doing high-end interior finish work for Elite Millwork Installation and several other companies. Exactly 2 years later I acquired my real estate license and worked for Redfin as a part-time Associate Agent. After about 3 months of working for Redfin I was introduced to eXp Realty and transferred my license there in October of 2021. I managed to close 6 transactions in my first 12 months as a part-time agent while still working full-time as a union carpenter. Since then life has thrown many curveballs and presented tough challenges, but I successfully completed my apprenticeship in 2024 and currently work as a real estate agent and journeyman carpenter living in Burien with my girlfriend and our 3 chickens. My focus has now shifted into app-development and coding with AI tools. And I will continue to evolve and learn every single day.
