Beautiful-Joy is the Manager of the Inflight Customer Experience Team at United Airlines, where she oversees the Inflight recognition program, High Five, that impacts FAs, as well as the recognition program to improve customer satisfaction with Catering vendors. She began her career at United Airlines after graduating from Langston University with a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics. She invested the first several years of her career in Pricing and Revenue Management (PRM) where she managed domestic and international routes for both leisure and business markets, with over $5 million in annual revenue. During her time in PRM, she became a subject matter expert on elasticity, a customer’s wiliness to pay, spring break trends and special event demand pattern changes. Since being in Inflight she has grown to managing the first of its kind rewards program, as well as cultivating strategic plans to de-stress the pre-flight experience for flight attendants and drive positive lift in Customer Satisfaction (CSAT). She serves on the board as treasure of Girls Living 4 God in Nashville, TN and is a Year Up United Mentor. She enjoys teaching character development to young women, mentoring/coaching, dancing, volunteering, and reading a good book.
