About Bec Chapple

Environmental Scientist at Senversa in the contaminated land division. During my time at Senversa, I have gained experience in contaminated site assessment and environmental compliance monitoring programs. I have had the opportunity to project management a number of projects and have developed many skills. These include skills in field preparation and planning, health and safety management, groundwater and surface water monitoring, soil sampling and logging, field management and the operation of a water treatment plant as part of an environmental management plan. I have also been involved in two remediation projects in the greater Sydney area including the treatment and validation of chlorinated hydrocarbons and heavy metals. I have been involved in both preliminary site investigations and detailed site investigations, as well as groundwater monitoring events, involvement in developing project strategies and application and review of laboratory quality assurance and quality control (QA/QC) procedures. I have also had the opportunity to assist with expert witness research and advice, as well as being involved in a large variety of fieldwork programs. I graduated at the end of 2021 with Environmental Science (Honours) at the University of Wollongong with a broad knowledge of environmental concepts. A keen eye for detail with strong organisation skills, time management and teamwork.
