About Bec Leith

I’m completing a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry and Mechatronics Engineering with Honours at Monash University. I was previously the team lead and am now a mentor of Monash Nova Rover, a university team which designs and builds Lunar and Martian rovers for use in research and international competitions. I am a gender equality activist and I am doing my part to promote equity, diversity and inclusion in STEM industries and in future generations. This includes the Pink Rover Campaign which I began in 2023 to start conversations about women in STEM. I am passionate about robotics development and plan to work in the aerospace industry. I acted on this passion working at RocketLab in the Summer of 2023. I’m a skilled chemist with wet lab experience and proficiency in data analysis. I am a natural communicator and have spoken at large events, conferences and on Live TV.
