About Becca Ames

As a former teacher, I am passionate about curriculum development and educational equity for students from diverse backgrounds and needs. I have a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from St. Olaf College and a Master of Teaching degree in Elementary Education from Saint Mary's University of Minnesota. I have four years of experience as a first grade teacher, previously working at Higher Ground Academy and Prodeo Academy, where I developed and implemented engaging and rigorous curriculum, assessments, and interventions. I have strong skills in organization, communication, and collaboration. In my role as a Case Manager for Meridian Services, I worked with individuals with developmental disabilities to set up their services to help them thrive in their community. I currently work as a Training Administrative Specialist, keeping the Learning and Development team organized and ensuring trainings are logged appropriately.
