About Becca Leake

As an Environmental Planning Manager I oversee and manage the planning aspects of Exagen’s pipeline of renewable energy projects, including solar and battery. To meet key project milestones I liaise with external organisations and consultants to ensure that project delivery and consent rates are successful. At Arcus I managed a range of multi-disciplinary renewable energy applications from small to large scale. I used ArcGIS Pro for solar and battery site selection and to help identify relevant constraints to projects. Whilst at Wold Ecology I gained ecological experience as I performed both dusk and dawn bat surveys. This work contributed to sustainable development within the Yorkshire region and ensured that bat populations remain secure. I have both an MSc in Environmental Science and Management and a BSc in Environmental Geography which have provided me with a well-rounded education in environmental processes and skills.
