About Becca Whitman

My goal in life is to advocate for those who have experienced human trafficking, domestic violence, and/or sexual assault. As a survivor of sexual exploitation and childhood trauma myself, I understand the complex needs of this population. I rely on my professional and lived experiences to provide awareness in the community. I am specifically passionate about developing safe home care for minors. I have experience running a safe home for minor females impacted by sex-trafficking as part of leadership team. I also have experience advocating for youth and young adults within child welfare services, justice systems, hospitals, schools, and more. I care about building relationships, teaching life skills, and walking alongside those on their healing journey. Above all else, my goal is to stand up for others and support their individual voices.
