Becky Binder, VP of Content Development Developing the educational content for the Global Summits can be compared to creating a painting. It begins with a blank canvas of creating a Summit theme for the year and ends with our team having developed a compelling, relevant theme that will resonate globally. Our role is to consider the emerging global trends, world issues and leadership insights which would inform and inspire our members. There are always new ideas to try and we believe that our members can benefit from inspirational speakers from a range of backgrounds and disciples. These speakers, topics, and stories strengthen the Summit program by adding depth and new layers of meaning to the learning experience. We find our speakers though reaching out to the network of friends, members, and colleagues. Our Summits are a special time when the community of professionals convene for a few days each year to network and learn. The people are the essence of the Summits, it’s their stories, their sharing, and journeys that make these events memorable. I am always amazed and humbled by the diversity of opinions, expertise, and ideas brought forth. The joy is in seeing this come together. It’s the friendships made, exposure to new ideas, and the collective commitment to professional excellence that crystallizes each Summit experience.
