Was a Hospital Pharmacist for 25 years. Have been an Assistant Director of Pharmacy. Worked in small and large hospitals. 13 years ago, started working for Centura IT, helping develop and roll out Physician Order Entry at all of their hospitals. Continued as an analyst for another year and a half, then was promoted to Manager of Pharmacy IT Services and then helped lead the Epic implementation. Was certified in Willow during that time. Helped lead optimization of Pharmacy services and IT for several years. Safety and efficiency were the highest priority. In 2021 started a new journey at Children’s Hospital IT. As Director of Clinical Application for IT, gained lots of knowledge and experience leading the IT team. Took a step back in May 2024 to part time to help family and spend more time traveling. Staying at Childrens to work with all the great people and continue helping with all things IT, especially pharmacy clinical content and processes within the EHR.
