About Becky Saunders

A lifelong theater professional, Becky intends to drop dead (many years from now, of course) either performing or directing. Early training includes a scholarship to the Los Angeles Civic Light Opera Association, classes with Estelle Harmon, Michael Holmes and the adult conservatory at South Coast Repertory. Performance credits include the National Tour of Bartlett Sher’s MY FAIR LADY and the National Tour of BYE BYE BIRDIE; Regional Tour of GOLF: THE MUSICAL; Madame Armfeldt in A LITTLE NIGHT MUSIC (NYC-Theater 2020). A few favorite roles in regional theater are; Dotty Otley in NOISES OFF, Lily Harrison in SIX DANCE LESSONS IN SIX WEEKS, Nurse in ROMEO AND JULIET and Velma Von Tussle in HAIRSPRAY. Director credits: SCHOOL OF ROCK for Munopco Music Theater, ALWAYS…PATSY CLINE, VANYA AND SONIA AND MASHA AND SPIKE, CHURCH BASEMENT LADIES, AWAY IN THE BASEMENT: A CHURCH BASEMENT LADIES CHRISTMAS and GUESS WHO’S COMING TO DINNER. All produced by Sierra Repertory Theater. She has stage managed for Theatreworks USA, Marin Shakespeare Company and 42nd St. Moon to name a few. Member of SAG-AFTRA
