I am a bilingual (English/Spanish), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) based in New York City. I specialize in issues of complex, migration trauma and have worked with immigrant survivors of violent crime across the US & Mexico for over a decade. In my current role I serve as Social Work Supervisor and Project Coordinator for the NYCBenefits Project at Bronx Legal Services. I hold a Master's degree in Social Work from the School of Social Service Administration from the University of Chicago and have received Post-Master's training from New York University and the Trauma Institute and Child Trauma Institute. I regularly administer trainings & consultation for legal service organizations, non-profits and law schools across New York City on the topic of providing trauma-informed services for asylum seekers and immigrant families. I sit on the Steering Committee for the Bronx Immigration Partnership. I provide consultation support to organizations looking to grow their social work/legal practice & clinical supervision to licensed master social workers. I also provide psychosocial evaluations for immigration petitions such as U-Visas, T-Visas, Asylum (affirmative and defensive), VAWA, Withholding of Removal, SIJS, and more.
