About Becky Tolman

From elementary education to public accounting, corporate finance, and ultimately finding my calling in the non-profit sector for the past 18 years, my career path has been anything but linear—but it has built a rich, diverse skill set that I carry with pride. Whether serving as a CEO, CFO, or a mom to three amazing (now adult) children, I’ve always been driven by a desire to give back, to lead, and to teach—especially through organizations that prioritize mission and people over profit, while still generating the kind of impact-driven profit that fuels meaningful change. In recent years, my passion has increasingly focused on supporting the aging population, particularly those impacted by Alzheimer’s Disease and Related Dementias (ADRD). I am pursuing specialization in ADRD care across both community-based and long-term care settings, driven by a deep interest in improving quality of life, access to care, and advocacy for individuals and families (like mine) navigating these challenges. With excellent communication skills, an MBA focused on non-profit leadership, and expertise in strategic growth and financial management, I bring a well-rounded perspective to the table. My board service reflects a commitment to organizational leadership and advancing mission-focused outcomes. I firmly believe that every employer, mentor, or coach teaches us something—whether it's the kind of leader we want to become or the kind we strive not to be. My leadership philosophy is rooted in dignity, respect, and inclusion. My continuous goal is to be the kind of leader remembered for lifting others up and opening doors wherever possible.
