About Bee Thao

Like many artists who were influenced by video games, animations, films, and great stories, as a 3d modeler I strive to create characters and assets that deepens the experience of the virtual worlds in video games and across multi-media. I enjoy surprising my audiences when they look upon my three dimensional models. I want people who are viewing my 3D models to have a sense of imagination and make up their own stories when they set their eyes on my models. As a 3D modeler I love it when I see my models come to life as 3D modeling is a visual form of art that a viewer can relate to. Whether it be for an animation or be used in a game I absolutely enjoy seeing my creations with the spark of life in them. Seeing my character come to life is what really motivates me to do what I love to do. For my motivation I draw inspirations from all sorts of visual and imaginable things. From long lost stories to visually appealing games and or animations I’m always borrowing ideas and in turn, turning them into my own 3D models. Although I’m inspired from modern visuals I am also inspired by my peers and instructors as they help aide me in critiques and give me more knowledge about my works. 3D modeling is so many things within the entertainment field but for me it’s a way to visually express my imagination and ideas unto the world.
