Eight years ago, I made one of the biggest decisions of my life—I left my home country, where I’d spent 11 years working in a state-owned enterprise and moved to the U.S. At 35, I faced a new language, a new culture, and a completely different financial system. But I was ready for the challenge.Starting over wasn’t easy. With only basic English, I had to learn quickly, and after years of hard work, I transitioned from a bank manager to a mortgage broker. This experience opened my eyes to the complexities people face, especially new immigrants when trying to navigate the U.S. financial system.What I bring to the table:Empathy for Clients: Having been through it myself, I understand how overwhelming financial systems can be. I’ve helped clients with no U.S. credit history secure loans by showing them how to build credit from scratch. Guiding people through what feels like an impossible process is one of my passions.Problem-Solving: I love turning challenges into solutions. One client, stuck with a high-interest mortgage, felt trapped. I walked them through refinancing options, and we reduced their payments by $400 per month—something they didn’t think was possible.Commitment to Learning: I recently earned my CBCA certification, and I make it a priority to stay updated on market trends. By constantly learning, I can offer my clients the most relevant advice.Building Trust: For me, banking is about more than transactions—it's about relationships. I’ve helped immigrant families buy their first homes, and I continue to advise them as they settle into their new lives.
