About Beibei Frangos

Hi! I am Beibei. This is a little snapshot of who I am as a professional and as a person. Throughout the past nine years, I have worked full-time in various industries, from visual effects to medical technology. During those fulfilling years of my life, I also did freelance on the side as a Mandarin - English interpreter/translator/tutor. However, just like most people, Covid-19 hit really hard. My daughter also came into my life during that time, along with all the unprecedented hardships that society experienced together as a whole. The drastic change in life called for a drastic shift in work/life balance. Ultimately, I took a step back from my career to care for my family. Now after two years, I am ready to kickstart my career again. Society has embraced a new era of remote/hybrid working, which brought new opportunities to people like myself who need flexibility in their life. Therefore, I made the commitment to pursue my career in Mandarin - English interpretation, translation, and localization. I am currently working towards a certification in Medical/Health Care interpreting to put the years of knowledge that I had acquired into use again.
