Co-founder of Helix Nebula Capital - Investment company, committed to quickly build companies with proven business models using highly optimized processes, specializing in incubation, start-up stage and early stage investments in private companies, that have demonstrated a consistent ability to deliver excellent returns over the long term and potential for significant future growth. During the involvement at Legi Group, it was established Financial Budgeting and Effectiveness Analysis Departments. Accounting system was reformed and is cooperating with also newly founded Internal Control Department for tax and managerial accounting purposes, which helped the company to increase profit margins, launch two new business units and raise additional capital. It was changed and formed the new politics to determine the organizational structure, duties of employees, control and increase their effectiveness. As a BDM and then Deputy CFO at Borun Mining, created and managed Cost Optimization Department, which was defining the company performance, costs effectiveness, budgeting and controlling manufacturing expenditures in inert material producing and road management fields.It was implemented new internal audit, financial reporting systems and accounting methods for project sites of the company, which models were used for the budget variance analysis and financial management purposes. Successfully planned and implemented more than 10 road building projects in Georgia, including co-projects with World Bank and several large international building companies.Totally, with increased yearly profit margins, company’s average yearly revenue was increased by more than 300%.
