About Belal Raifai

Belal is a Senior Manager in the Digital Risk Solutions practice at PwC Canada. He holds a master's degree in Accounting and a bachelor's degree in Life Sciences from the University of Toronto, Mississauga. Belal is a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) and a Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA). He is also a certified Workday Consultant with a focus on Financial Management and Risk Advisory, assisting clients transform their finance function through the power of Workday. Belal integrates his multidisciplinary experience, including Accounting, Controls and Technology to help clients optimize their business processes, enhance their control environment, manage their security posture and address risks of cloud technologies. When not serving his clients, Belal enjoys volunteering and giving back to the community. He has been an active volunteer with the ISACA Toronto chapter over the years and is currently serving as the Director of Academic Relations & Research, focusing on building and maintaining strong relationships with external academic institutions and coordinating academic-related chapter initiatives. Belal is also a co-instructor of a Management & Information Systems Masters course at UofT.
