About Bella Heeley

Hi, I’m Bella! International student at Korea University studying languages and international studies. I’m a trained professional from Liverpool in the field of youth advisory work with a passion for youth engagement and community development. I currently work under the Young Advisors Charity and have consulted with young people across Merseyside about a range of topics such as: community safety, violence reduction and mental health. I work collaboratively as a member of the Sefton Young Advisors team and offer solutions to organisations to better include and represent young people. I also took up a Comms and Marketing position with the charity, actively monitoring social media platforms, creating content and facilitating internal communications of the network. Along with this role, I’m also part of the Young Advisor Training Pool and support newly recruited members of Young Advisor teams across the country to become trained professionals. I hope to continue community work in the future and would like to incorporate my goals of becoming multilingual. As for career aspirations, global peace-building and conflict prevention are areas I’d be really excited to explore! In my free time I like taking up art projects or visiting museums and galleries.
