About Bella Vandersall
I am a second year Honors Public Policy & Economics student at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill with a policy interest in social mobility, affordable housing, and reducing educational disparities. I am passionate about making a positive impact on my community and hope to go into the non-profit sector. At UNC I am member of Habitat for Humanity’s exec team as the Event Coordinator and the Policy Network, an undergraduate think tank where my team is working on developing policy solutions to student gentrification and diminishing affordable housing in the Northside neighborhood of Chapel Hill. Each of these organizations allows me hands-on experience working to improve the local community through differing approaches. Outside of class, I enjoy spending time outside, rock climbing, playing guitar, and enjoying Asheville's vibrant art scene.
