About Ben Athey

SustainAbility Consulting is a boutique Sydney-based recruitment business. We specialise in placing professionals into the IT and Accounting & Finance sectors, in leading organisations across all industry sectors in Australia. We also have a sister "business support" recruitment brand; please check out Lotus People for all of your office administrative support needs. We believe in developing a partnership with our clients and candidates. We chose our name carefully, because to us a sustainable business is based on establishing relationships for the long term.I have a passion for business development and consistently strive to add value to both existing and new clients. I believe that strong relationships and partnerships need to be formed between agencies and clients, based on understanding, shared problem solving and trust. My previous success is demonstrable through my loyal client base, from ASX listed companies to the smaller SME market. In addition to this, being a technical vertical specialist for over 15 years in Sydney, I have a solid foundation of candidate contacts and access to a rich talent pool. Personally I enjoy taking part in physical challenges such as the OXFAM 100KM (twice!), travelling around Australia in my trusty 4WD Land Cruiser, and am currently building a house in the Southern Highlands with my family and my own two hands. I am also married with baby number one due at the end of 2015. We like to keep busy!
