About Ben Barlow

I graduated from Western Oregon University with my Undergraduate Degree in Business and Mathematics in 2018, and immediately transitioned into a full time roll as the Internal Operations Manager at 18 Oaks Sign Company. Before enrolling in the Organizational Leadership Master's program at WOU in 2021, I continued my work at 18 Oaks growing my expertise and business skills. During that same time, I was also hired on at WOU as the coach of the Men's Rugby Team, and have continued in that role through the present. In 2023, I had the opportunity to sign a contract and travel overseas to play a season of rugby. That experience taught me much about hard work and resiliency, but allowed me to immerse myself in a new way of thinking. After the conclusion of our season, and a brief hiatus to explore the beautiful country of New Zealand, I accepted a position as the Coordinator, Leadership Development at Western Oregon University and travelled back home. As a professional, I am an experienced, dedicated, and self-motivated individual. I have strong communication and Interpersonal skills, and a highly professional approach to my role on any team. I am goal oriented and quality driven. I believe in the power of a select few individuals to affect positive change within a community and have initiated several events to aide in that charge. I believe in life-long learning and constantly strive to improve. I believe I can play a full and active role in the success of your organization.
