I am a process engineer currently driving international innovation & optimisation projects in specialty agrochemical production at Syngenta. Background in R&D, Production, and Commissioning, with an MEng (Hons) in Chemical Engineering from the University of Sheffield, pursuing IChemE chartership. At Syngenta, I contribute to developing cutting-edge agricultural active ingredients that enhance crop productivity while minimising environmental impact. This role has deepened my understanding of sustainability challenges in production processes and beyond, reinforcing my passion for novel solutions to global issues. Key areas of expertise: • Process modelling in Aspen and Ansys Fluent for CFD • Process optimisation and efficiency & sustainability improvement • Scaling up & down of processes • First principle problem solving • Technical communication & documentation Key achievement: • Successfully commissioned and operated a new chemical plant and implemented improvements to the process control system, significantly enhancing operational safety. I am excited to pioneer sustainable change in heavy industry, an area that is vital to our global net zero goals. My experience in agrochemical production has equipped me with valuable insights into complex industrial processes and their environmental implications.
