I am a full stack developer with a wealth of leadership and project management experience. Via a Graduate Certificate at NSCC in Full Stack Application Development, I obtained practical experience in the MERN stack and am proficient in React.js, SQL, JavaScript, Express & Node.js, HTML & CSS, and Linux, as well as software testing and quality control. With a strong background in Group Benefits Operations at Manulife Financial, I have held progressively senior roles including as, Manager AdminAdvantage, Supervisor Customer Service, Business Analyst and Senior Support. I am also certified as a Lean Six Sigma Green Belt with demonstrable results improving operations resulting in significant time and cost savings. In my current role as a Business Systems Tester, I work closely with developers and business consultants to ensure successful deployment of scripts through SIT, UAT and staging environments. I am passionate about using my skills and experience to excel in any developer role. My drive to continually learn and improve allows me to stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and practices while finding ways to do things better.
