My philosophy and one of my best achievements, personally, is understanding that success is measured by my attitude and the team surrounding me. My goal is a leadership role within a company that offers me a challenge to undertake and overcome. I was recruited by ServiceMaster (Facilities Group) in 1995. I began my career in Healthcare and transitioned into Higher Ed/Business Development. In my 18 years in Facilities/Construction Services, I have developed a lead by example, attitude. This attitude has proven effective in growing new business and development of new team leaders. I am a versatile, multi-channel Facilities Management professional who leads projects through change and challenges to profitable growth. An expert with experience in Multi-Facility/Project Management. I will ensure the smooth operations of buildings, general engineering, and safety functions. I have a proven record of success in driving critical initiatives from planning through implementation, achieving positive and measurable organizational impact. I served as an Executive Leadership Communication Liaison for many years in a Facilities/Project Management organization. During this time, I combined analytical knowledge, leadership abilities, and relationship building skills to engage stakeholders at all levels and enable data-driven decision-making. I have ensured successful profit margins, managing a $38M operational budget. Within this position, I was in charge of five Zone Managers and 67 employees over seven campuses. The seven universities totaled over 5M+ square feet. During this time, I was in direct communication with C-suite executives, providing expertise to executive leadership. This communication was regarding projected capital facility expenses, renovations, and new construction. I led the program to educate customers on available KPIs, allowing them to invest accordingly in the capital asset program. Developed and implemented a $100M eight-year capital improvement budget for mechanical equipment. Recognized for delivering creative, well-functioning solutions and Complex Issue Resolution.
