Dr Ben Crossett is the Associate Director of Sydney Mass Spectrometry at the University of Sydney. Sydney Mass Spectrometry supports life science and medical research with global impact in the areas of proteomics, metabolomics and mass spectrometry imaging. The facility currently operates a suite over 20 mass spectrometers including a Fusion Lumos 1M, Eclipse, Exploris 480, two Q Exactive HF-Xs, and a Synapt G2 Si with ion mobility and a DESI source. A Zeno ToF mass spectrometer is the most recent addition, installed in March 2022. As Associate Director of the SydneyMS he is involved in a wide range of research programs tackling cancer, infectious disease, neurobiology, agriculture & veterinary science, chronic disease, drug discovery and fundamental biology.
