About Ben Devries

As a youngster my family instilled within me a passion for business. My parents, grandparents and great grandparents were all involved in running businesses and their experiences and stories helped me shape a word view that values leadership, innovation and efficiency. The first 20 years of my career were with a multinational mining company where I received some of the best training, development and mentorship available. I had the opportunity to take on leadership roles in large companies across different parts of the globe broadening my skills and experience significantly. For the past 10 years I was also a director of New Way Lawyers, Australia’s first non profit law firm and have been hands on in the set up and growth of this organisation. Through this I have developed a real understanding of the challenges and rewards that face smaller companies. These experiences provided the motivation for my recent decision to start a new company which combines the best of big business and small business and creates a new operating model. It's innovative, challenging and very experimental - but that's what makes it so exciting.
