About Ben Edgar

8+ years of program management experience in big tech and startup environments and two years of strategy and operations consulting. Alongside my latest rating of "Greatly Exceed Expectations", I received feedback that I am a calm and level-headed thinker, especially in stressful and ambiguous situations, that I'm a pleasure to work with, and that I go above and beyond to show care for the people in our organization. I take pride in my work production but I take even more pride in receiving feedback like this. It's not worth being good if you can't also be kind! I find happiness and job satisfaction through working on projects that have positive impacts on society with heavy doses of constant learning. I've worked in risk management functions throughout my career but I have a deep passion for healthcare, fitness, and building community. My next role will be in one of the above areas with a company that cares deeply about their people and about doing the right thing. I can't wait to bring my driver/operator skillset and positive attitude to the right next challenge! On a personal note, I reside in the Puget Sound area. I've run multiple ultramarathons, I'm a volunteer EMT at my local fire department, and I love a good physical and / or mental challenge. I believe that working through problems, deep conversations about happiness or purpose, or physical exertion with someone is the best way to bond!
