About Ben Eisenberg

I am currently working in the Whole Word Institute as a Biblical Hebrew Teacher as well as an Online Language Program Developer. In parallel I am studying for my Graduate degree at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem in the field of Biblical Hebrew linguistics- In 2022, finished my B.A. degree at the Hebrew University (Magna Cum Laude), studying Hebrew Language and Functional Linguistics. I also received the Dean's List award all three years of my BA. My academic interests include Biblical Hebrew, Semitic languages such as Aramaic and Akkadian, historical linguistics, and corpus linguistics- I have experience working as a Student Instructor, Teaching Assistant, Student Mentor, and as a Research Assistant. I am interested in teaching Biblical Hebrew as well as in learning to combine my interest in language with computational technology, having studied Java and Computer Science in High School, and in HUJI having taken a course in Python- I am organized, analytical, and a critical thinker, and enjoy learning new things as well as sharing this knowledge with others in an accessible way. I look forward to continuing studying Biblical Hebrew and the Semitic languages and finding ways to make these languages more accessible.
