About Ben Esseling

Enthusiastic student eager to contribute to team success through hard work, attention to detail and excellent problem solving skills. Motivated to learn, grow and excel in any industry or challenge that fascinates me! The over 6 years of experience in the field of robotics taught me to combine theory and practise, and supplied me with a demonstrated history of working interdisciplinary with mechanical and industrial engineering, Physics, Mathematics and Computer Science. This has taken masive amounts of free time but was spend so that i can learn, develop, but most importantly, enjoy myself! From experience I can say that working under stressful conditions does not hold me back from accomplishing my goals whatsoever, it motivates me to improve myself even further and makes me always want to push the boundary of what I think is possible. This drive to pursue new and exciting ideas and push boundaries led me to study a combined bachelor in Applied Physics and Mathematics at the TU/e, and next to that also take up several roles in (to be!) succesful extracurricular teams: • Team HART is a student team at the TU/e with the goal of reaching beyond regular human senses to become more than human and achieve freedom of experience. • Team Rembrandts is a highly awarded FIRST Robotics team stationed in Eindhoven but participating in international competitions, of which most notably the World Championship in Detroit. I'm always looking for new challenges and things to try, fascinating new worlds to discover, and new people to meet!
