Ben Finane is Director of Content at Steinway & Sons, producer and host of Soundboard, a podcast on artistry and craftsmanship and Editor in Chief and Publisher of listenmusicculture.com (formerly the multi- award-winning print quarterly Listen: Life with Music & Culture). He is the author of Handel's Messiah and His English Oratorios (Continuum Books) and Melody's Mostly Musical Day (Steinway & Sons) and has written on the performing arts for The New York Times, Newark Star-Ledger, San Francisco Chronicle, The New Criterion, Time Out New York, Stereophile, Strings, The Strad, Symphony, Playbill, and other publications.
