Thirty-Five (35) years experience designing and programming PLC control systems, having successfully done systems from as small as a single machine to systems with over eight miles of conveyor. A sampling of the major companies I have engineered projects for are Sears/Kmart, Lowe’s, Flowers Baking, Continental Baking, Granger, Best Buy, Amazon, Hobby Lobby, and United Stationers taking them from concept to completion. These projects have been done solo, as part of a design team, or as a team leader, as well as project manager where I had responsible for the management of cost, hours, and resources, with great success. I have also worked closely with vendors, other design engineers, and contractors, in the fields of design, assembly, and installation of equipment, all done in an environment of cooperation, mutual respect, and team play to insure that every project I have completed was done quickly and in a cost effective manner. This was always done to the satisfaction of facility managers, production foreman, and plant workers which has led to my being their “go-to” person of choice with questions, concerns and problems, either while on site or remotely after the installation was complete. Installing that kind of confidence and camaraderie goes a long way to also installing trust in the company I work for.
