As a seasoned communicator and media professional immersed in the global aviation, aerospace and defence sectors, I have many senior-level connections in media, aviation, military, political, and corporate worlds. With more than 15 years in daily business and financial news, I bring impeccable writing skills, a sound grasp of capital markets, and an extensive City network. My recent focus in corporate and financial PR supports my current role as Communications Director at 2Excel Group, an aviation, aerospace, defence, data science and engineering business. At 2Excel, I orchestrate all aspects of communication — internal, external, media relations, government relations, marketing and branding. In 2018, I took the helm on secondment as Head of Communications at Airbus UK, steering the company through the RAF 100 celebrations and major air shows. Today, my expertise extends to advising warbird operators on strategic communications, media relations and marketing, as well as coaching busy executives and entrepreneurs on how to make the most from media interviews. A Liveryman of the Honourable Company of Air Pilots, I serve as the Honorary Press Officer and contribute as a member of the prestigious Trophies & Awards Committee. Beyond my professional engagements, I'm a passionate pilot with a penchant for vintage taildraggers and fast jets. Whether flying my co-owned de Havilland Chipmunk or testing diverse aircraft for magazine articles, my logbook includes more than 25 types. A Fellow of the Royal Aeronautical Society and active in the Air and Space Power Association, The Air League and Airlines UK, I remain dedicated to advancing the discourse in aviation and aerospace. I am a judge in the annual Aerospace Media Awards and a Board Trustee of both disabled flying charity Aerobility charity and the de Havilland Educational Trust.
